all the other big names.
The most cosmopolitan and vibrant City in the Gulf, Dubai has an
excellent variety of restaurants offering the chance to enjoy cuisine
from all over the world. From American to Thai, Indian to Italian and
everything between – there really is something to suit every taste and
budget.
Theme parks, water parks, zoos, beaches and country parks are amongst
the activities available. No visit would be complete without a trip to

Dubai offers an ideal holiday destination for water sports enthusiasts
from around the world. Visitors can count on sunshine and comfortable
water temperatures all year round and Dubai offers a choice of well
established clubs and leisure companies specialising in scuba diving,
deep sea fishing, water skiing, sailing and wind surfing.
The warmth and shelter of the Gulf attracts a large variety of fish.
Substantial species like the local Hammour (Grouper), Barracuda, Shark
and Sail Fish are the prize of the catch. Half-day trips are available
to the best fishing waters some 12 miles off shore.
The warm water of the Gulf and year round sunshine makes Dubai an ideal
location for water skiing. Facilities and location are perfect for
beginners and advanced skiers. Dubai's reputation as a water skiing
paradise is well established. Each year, the Dubai Water Sports
Association invites top performers from Europe and the United States for
a week-long competition and festival.
Sailing is one of the most popular pastimes in Dubai. Fixed keel, dinghy
and board sailing are all available. Conditions are near perfect with
minimal tides and currents in the Gulf. Winds are usually predictable
and reassuring for the beginner but strong enough to challenge the
experienced sailor.
